A fantastic initiative organised by CLS in cooperation with Project Indochina has been installation of this 10,000 litre water tank in the village of Kampong Samrong. The tank is refilled daily with 7,000l which are trucked in. The water is sold to villagers for around 8c for a 30l container.
The tank was installed in March and 100 families are now using it as their water source. Previously these families were paying more for their water and were having to carry it on bicycles as far as 4km.
This is another example amongst many of how CLS is reaching out to the Chmumkriel and Kampong Samrong communities to improve the lives of so many impoverished families.
