Chumkriel Language School (CLS) is a place where all community members can access education and resources for free.
CLS helps students enjoy learning so they can stay in school and continue their studies. The activities offered at CLS add to the children’s existing State School education. Classes include English, Cambodian language, arts and crafts, and sports and games.
By developing concentration, creativity, and critical thinking the students become confident in the classroom, as a part of a team and when speaking with people in English and Cambodian.
The array of projects and services provided are designed to build a stronger Chumkriel through the provision of:
- Basic homes for those unable to provide for their families
- Education in English and life skills to equip our children and community members with knowledge, skills and processes to build a better future
- Scholarships to enable equity for all children regardless of their socio-economic circumstances to receive an education
