About Us

Chumkriel Language School (CLS) is a Cambodian operated grass roots organisation striving to provide accessible education and assistance to the local community. It is a small not-for-profit NGO registered with the Cambodian Ministry of Interior.

CLS offers a variety of education and community support programs that promote improved life skills for the people of Chumkriel and neighbouring rural communities. It is staffed by local Cambodians who value the importance of educating the children of this community and of setting a positive example.

Chumkriel Language School fosters recognition of education and self- improvement as a pathway to better employment opportunities and improved lifestyle. We do this by developing our students knowledge and life skills, teaching them English, and providing support and encouragement to their families.
