The CLS Library fosters improved literacy, encouraging students to read, understand and enjoy both Khmer and English books.

• Reading lessons are provided in the library, with independent and guided reading, and with reading to groups by teachers or volunteers.
• We work closely with the government school to promote reading and literacy in our community.
• Reading diaries and log books are used to record and to check children’s understanding of books they read.
• Our Book Club has become very popular and  well attended Book Club Reading Events, to which parents are invited, are held several times a year.
