A Health & Hygiene Program teaches cleanliness and good hygiene as the essence of a healthy life.

• High standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness are taught and applied at the Learning Centre, and every Monday the students have a Health & Hygiene lesson.
• Students are encouraged to drink regularly, drawing from a generous source of clean drinking water provided for their use.
• Toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided monthly to children at the Learning Centre and also to the salt field students. They are regularly instructed in their use and practise teeth cleaning at the Centre on a weekly basis.
• Hygiene measures are supported at two neighbouring government schools.

US$100 will cover the cost of Health & Hygiene lessons for one child for a year.
